Burlingame is moving forward with updating its accessory dwelling unit zoning codes β largely with more leniency for the buildings β to be in compliance with state law, the City Council decided at its meeting Dec. 2.
The city received a letter from the California Department of Housing and Community Development informing it that Burlingameβs ADU regulations werenβt reflective of current state law, Planning Manager Ruben Hurin said at a previous Planning Commission meeting.
